AI website builders have been around for a while. But recently, they’ve gotten shockingly better.
Everywhere you look, artificial intelligence is transforming how we do marketing, including for website building.
Editor’s note: I’m going to use some affiliate links when possible to try to earn some revenue from my content. These don’t change the opinions espoused in the content nor the style in which they are written. If I think a product sucks, I’m not going to say otherwise. This is just a bonus and a way to fund the whole operation.

1. Wix ADI
Wix is actually a super solid website builder.
I feel like the perception is that it’s basic or too simple. While this is true for many enterprise websites and complex use cases, for the majority of people building websites, it will be more than enough.
Wix ADI, or Wix Artificial Design Intelligence, is an AI-powered solution offered by the Wix website builder that automatically creates a website based on user input and preferences.
Their artificial intelligence is essentially baked into the existing platform, not as a separate tool.
This supports their value proposition of being one of the easiest website builders for nontechnical people, marketers, etc.
The platform learns about the user and applies this knowledge to build a customized website that includes enterprise-grade infrastructure, business features, advanced SEO, and marketing tools.
Price: Starts at $16 / month for the most basic plan
G2 Score: 4.2
2. Unbounce
Unbounce isn’t necessarily a full website builder, but it is one of the best landing page tools on the market.
I needed to add them to this list because they’ve transformed into an AI-powered company. From their purchase of an AI copywriting tool (not called Smart Copy) to their AI traffic optimization as well as the “smart builder” AI landing page creator, artificial intelligence functionally powers every part of the platform.
This means that, from the point of inception and ideation, AI tools help you create the best and highest converting experience for users.
I’ve used Unbounce for years, and the experience has gotten a lot better. Used to be hard to create a landing page, and despite their messaging, I would always need help from a designer.
Now it takes just a few clicks to get going.
And their AI writer is pretty darn good.
Not as good as Jasper or Writesonic, but pretty solid.
Price: $74 / mo
G2 Score: 4.4/5
3. Appy Pie
Appy Pie is a comprehensive no-code platform with dozens of tools to help marketers, product managers, and business owners go live without a ton of development resources.
They have tools to support web and mobile applications as well as workflows and business automation tools.
As for their AI website builder, they actually let you try it out for free on their web page:
Their AI engine takes your inputs, just a few sentences, and turns it into a functional website (you can add pages as you go).
Solid platform and decent AI website builder. It’s probably not going to give you a Monet masterpiece, but it’ll get you started.
Price: $18/Mo
G2 Score: 4.7/5
4. Durable
Durable is an AI website builder designed for services businesses.
It’s a super simple website generator that lets you create a professional website in less than 30 seconds.
I tried their setup process to create websites, which was only two steps.
The website it created, while not amazing, gives me a really solid starting point:
In fact, that’s the way I’d look at AI in general, including AI text generators: they’re great starting points to work from.
At least at this point, an AI web builder can get you a basic website, but it won’t be great at producing a polished final draft.
There’s still some human intelligence required after all!
Price: $9 / month for websites with unlimited pages
G2 Score: N/A
5. Jimdo
Jimbdo is an extensive collection of tools that do “everything for your business.”
This includes the basic website, an online store, a free custom domain and free hosting for a year, a logo, and social media integrations.
I’d argue, pedantically, that your business probably needs more than just these tools, but let’s go with it.
Their AI website builder is called Jimbdo Dolphin and it’s built into the platform (like Wix and other tools on this list).
Again, the value proposition is aimed at small businesses, so they’re really indexing on ease of use. And certainly, the tools does make creating websites with their AI website generator quite easy.
They also have an AI logo maker in addition to website creation tools.
Price: Starts free! The $14 per month includes search engine optimization features.
G2 Score: 4/5
6. Hostinger Website Builder
Hostlinger Website Builder is one of the cheapest AI website builders out there, starting at just $2.99/mo and including a free domain.
Hate that countdown timer though!
All of these features are included in the basic bundle:
- Free Domain ($9.99 value)
- Free Email
- eCommerce features
- Marketing integrations
- 24/7 Customer Support
- Website builder
- Up to 100 Websites
- Unmetered traffic (Unlimited GB)
- Unlimited Free SSL certificates
- Web Hosting included
Honestly, it may not be the most powerful tool, and it doesn’t include an AI writer to fill out your content, but the value alone makes it worth a try.
Price: $2.99/mo
G2 Score: 4.2/5
7. 10Web AI Builder
10Web AI Builder is probably the most comprehensive AI website builder on this list.
Not only does it have the core value proposition (professional website within minutes), but they also have an AI writer and AI image generation tools to fill out the existing website with content (underrated).
They have a custom editor based on Elementor, a popular landing page builder, to help you build out relevant pages.
They also have hosting features and 1-click migrations, though they don’t include a free domain.
You can build a free account to get started, but the advanced features require an upgrade.
Price: Pricing is visit based as well as feature based, and begins at $10/mo for personal websites.
G2 Score: 4.4/5
8. GetResponse Website Builder
GetResponse is an all-in-one marketing software platform with tools for web forms, landing pages, email marketing and automation, and of course, a free website builder.
The website builder is a AI-driven and no-code, allowing marketers and nontechnical folks to build a high converting website using both pre built templates and workflows from scratch.
Big fan of GetResponse. I used it as my email newsletter software for a long time before switching.
What’s cool is you can actually try out the website builder without even creating a free plan account, unlike other website builders.
It will walk you through a very simple process where you give it some basic information and end up with a solid professional looking website:
Price: Free! But for features like unlimited storage you’ll need to upgrade as well all the features for marketing
G2 Score: 4.2/5
9. Jasper
Jasper is different from the rest of the tools on this list, though I think you’ll find it wildly useful in creating websites.
It’s a generative AI platform.
Jasper has AI text generation tools, including Jasper Chat, recipes, pre built templates, and a Chrome extension. They also have an AI image generator that can create custom imagery.
They also just announced Jasper for Business, which includes brand voice and style artifacts, so you can write creative copy at scale across your website as well as search engine optimization and social media.
Frankly, it’s one of my favorite marketing tools in general right now.
While it’s not necessarily a website builder, their AI creates copy and design elements that will help fill in your existing website.
This is a great tool to use in conjunction with one of the other best website builders on this list.
Price: $49/mo for Boss Mode plan (up to 50,000 words)
G2 Score: 4.8/5
10. Bookmark
Bookmark is a popular AI powered website builder that also includes ecommerce features as well as blogging features.
It’s a comprehensive tool that lets you build landing pages for relevant pages as well as an overall website in just a few clicks using their AI website builder.
It’s no-code, drag and drop, and super simple to use.
Price: $11.99 per month for the basic plan. For ecommerce features you’ll need to upgrade to the business plan.
G2 Score: 4.9/5
What is an AI Website Builder?
AI website builders are automated tools to help users easily design, develop, and optimize websites with minimal effort.
AI-powered website builders use machine learning algorithms to understand the user’s needs and preferences, providing pre-made templates, design, and copywriting that match their specifications.
Users barely have to know coding or any technical skills to work with an AI website builder (I mean, in general, you can get by with no-code tools nowadays like Webflow).
I’m mainly going to include CMS software and landing page builders in this list, but I’ll include a few generative AI copywriting tools as well.
Advantages of Using an AI Website Builder
The biggest advantage of using an AI website builder is that it saves time on development.
Speaking personally, I HATE the idea of designing and developing my website. It’s built on WordPress, and my header image is literally an outdated picture of the Austin skyline from 2014, the last time I updated it:
Instead of spending hours or even days setting up a complicated web page from scratch, users can simply launch an AI site builder and have a functional site ready in minutes.
Since these sites use templates backed by tons of reinforcement learning (i.e. they get data on what works and what doesn’t among all the websites they create), they tend to be more visually appealing than traditional websites built from scratch.
This makes it easier for small businesses and entrepreneurs to create attractive sites without needing expensive designers or developers.
An underrated benefit is that, because these site builders are powered by artificial intelligence algorithms, they can be continuously improved over time based on user behavior signals (instead of running thousands of A/B tests all the time).
This means that you can expect regular updates with new features as well as bug fixes and security patches as needed—all without having to manually manage your site yourself.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for an easy way to get your business online quickly without needing any coding knowledge or experience in web design, then an AI website builder might be right for you.
Not only will these programs save you time when building your site but they also provide attractive templates as well as ongoing support and maintenance so that your site stays secure and up-to-date at all times.
